Scottish Collaborative of Sign Language Interpreters

Welcome to the Scottish Collaborative of Sign Language Interpreters. Launched formally in July 2020, SCOSLI was established following discussions with Scottish based interpreters.

As a professional association, SCOSLI’s key purpose is to provide support to its members and encourage and support the development of interpreting good practice in Scotland.

SCOSLI members are largely based in Scotland and are registered as a qualified or trainee interpreter with one of the registration bodies in the UK (SRLPDC, NRCPD, RBSLI). SCOSLI also welcomes interpreting students enrolled in a recognised interpreting course who benefit from the supportive environment as they prepare to join the profession on completion of their studies.

SCOSLI is proud to represent Scotland as a member of the World Association of Sign Language Interpreters (WASLI) and the European Forum of Sign Language Interpreters (efsli).
